Today I went to Grand Indonesia shopping town with my friend Felicia. I already mention her about a year ago ( I only met her once or twice a year lol). She's living in Australia and once a year she came back to Indonesia :)
We were eating and not to forget shopping! I still can't stay away from shopping even I'm running out of money :(
But in this post I wanna share to you what I ate today. I will make another post about what I bought today later. We decided to try some restaurant that we never tried before. So, after we arrived at GI (shorten of Grand Indonesia) we having lunch at Social House. I know this restaurant for a long time but this restaurant always full. Today is weekday so the restaurant is a lit....tle bit empty.
I ordered this beef carpaccio with mushroom, mozzarella and rockets? ( Felicia told me this green vegetable called rockets) and also with chocolate sauce I think, because the sauce really tasted like chocolate for me. I'm officially forget what its name, I only remember it's carpaccio. I always love eating a raw meat like this. The meat served fresh. I just don't like that green vegetable, I'm a kind of meat girl! If you combine the carpaccio,mushroom,moza and also rockets it's really tasted good. You'll feel freshness and sweetness all together in your mouth.
I ordered frozen chocolate mint (this not the actual name, I also can't remember its name). I recommend this drink too. You should try this.
Then we went for shopped. Yeayy, shopping! After that we came across to Plaza Indonesia. We having dinner at OOTOYA Restaurant.
Again, I also forget the name of what Felicia and I ordered!
We ordered rice with chicken and omelette on the top and it comes with miso soup, "salad" , and a bowl of something I don't know what it is. Feli ordered fried chicken and I ordered the grilled one. They served with Japanese lunch box like student in Japan. I'm sorry the photos are blur, I took it with my BB (yes, my BB is back to normal). We ordered Ocha of course. I personally don't recommend the dish. The flavors are to ordinary nothing special / unique. What I recommend is the ocha. The ocha tasted so freakin good! it's like seaweed or nori I think but Feli told me that it's brown rice or something like that, whatever the ingredients are the ocha tasted so good!
Sadly we have to got home! When we were walking to the car parking I met Bakerzin and bought 2 packs of my favorite macaroons. I can't took a photos because me, and my brothers ate it just about 5 minutes lol.
The prices of both restaurant are bit pricey but I think it's worth, the foods and drinks tasted delicious :)
P.S : after I clicked the "publish post" my little brother woke up and vomited! He ate to much I think.
